Cuenca has many squares, a central park or Calderón park, a new cathedral and an old one, the municipality building, the Tomebamba river boulevard, etc. You can enjoy a coffee overlooking the river; visit the Central Bank Museum, where you can also see the ruins of Pumapungo, a museum of aboriginal cultures where more than 5000 pre-Columbian pieces are exhibited. Nearby is El Cajas National Park, which you must have known before saying goodbye to this beautiful region of Ecuador.
